Naomi Watts

 Naomi Ellen Watts (born 28 September 1968) is the British actor from Britain. After her family relocated to Australia Watts made her film film debut in For Love Alone (1986). Later, she was a part of three TV series: Hey Dad.. (1990) The Brides of Christ(91) and Home and Away (91) as well as Flirting (1991). Watts was a flop as an actor when she first arrived in the United States. She acted in films of a smaller scale and later was a professional actress. The role was the catalyst for her rise to the international spotlight. Watts was then chosen to play a journalist who was tortured in The Ring (2002). Her portrayal of an emotional mother in Alejandro's 21 Grams (2003) was nominated for an Academy Award. She continued to climb the ranks of fame with her parts in I Heart Huckabees (2004) and King Kong (2005) as well as Eastern Promises (2007) and The International (2009). For her performance as Maria Bennett in the disaster film The Impossible (2012), Watts received an additional Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. In the 2010s, Watts appeared in films such as Birdman (2014) St. Vincent (2014) St. Vincent (2015), While We're Young (2016), The Glass Castle (2017) and Luce (2018). Watts continued her acting career through film roles that were blockbusters, like in Divergent (2015-2016).
