Rashida Jones
Rashida Jones was born Los Angeles,
California to Quincy Jones, a media producer and mogul, as well as Peggy
Lipton, Rashida is the younger sister of actress Peggy Lipton and Quincy Jones.
Kidada Jones is her older sibling. There are five half-siblings due to her
father's other marriages. Her father is African-American, and her mother is
Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant from the emigrants who emigrated from Russia and
Latvia). Rashida was born into Reform Judaism. She was born in Bel Air, Los
Angeles. Jones admitted that Jones' mixed race parents weren't acceptable to
her during the 1970s. Jones' professional acting debut was in The Last Don
(1997) the mini-series inspired by Mario Puzo's novel. Rashida was also a
Harvard University graduate in 1997. The course was at the Buckley School,
Sherman Oaks, California. She was named the Most Likely to Succeed. The name
she uses is Arabic (O+-O'UO-O(c)) to mean "Major adult, mature and
wise". On People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" list.

Ronson on 25th February 2003. Niece of Robert Lipton. She is romantically tied
to Josh Hartnett, Charlie Hunnam and John Krasinski. Appeared as a vocalist in
an ode to Tupac Shakur who was married to her sister Kidada Jones. Rashida and
Kidada's brother Quincy Jones III produced the track, while their father,
Quincy Jones, made an appearance while reciting the words from Shakur's poem
"Starry Night" in the intro. The poem was the inspiration behind the
title of the song. Rashida's father was African-American but also has smaller
quantities of English, Scottish, and Welsh, and Welsh ancestry (some of his
African family members were descendants of the Tikar people of Cameroon).
Rashida's motheris Ashkenazi Jewish (of Russian Jewish heritage and Latvian
Jewish heritage), is Rashida. Her maternal grandparents are from South Carolina
and Mississippi. Her maternal grandfather was born to New Yorkers and her
maternal grandmother was of Eastern European Jewish heritage. She has played
three characters called "Karen" from 2009 to present on the popular
TV comedy series Freaks and Geeks (1999), Stella (2006), and The Office (2005).
