Kelly Nash was a South Carolina native born on the 22nd October of 1990. Kelly
grew up in South Carolina with her two older sisters, Kaitlyn (and Carolyn) and
her mother, Carolyn. Kelly isn't revealing any details regarding her parents
(names and professions) however. Kelly grew up attending ball games with her
dad, and soon fell in love with the sport. To further her education, after she
completed high school Kelly enrolled at Clemson University in South Carolina,
from which she earned a bachelor's degree in Youth Development Leadership. The
University of Miami was her first choice, and she was awarded a master's in
Broadcast Journalism. Kelly was a part the ACC Digital Network's internship
team. She also served as an assistant to the production. Following her
internship, Kelly received an offer to join the ACC Digital Networks. Kelly
began her professional career as a sports reporter and was a host of interviews
on the weekend during "ACC Kickoff", a only news show that was
broadcast on Saturdays. The network was in existence for two years, until 2013,
during which time she also contributed to the show "ACC NOW".
Following her time with ACC Digital Network was over and she was able to join
Fox Sports Florida as a sideline journalist. Her dedication to her job led to
her being hired by Fox Sports Sun. She covers the Tampa Bay Rays and Orlando
Magic franchises and provides stories about these teams.
