Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is an Canadian actress. Her roles include Andy Jensen, on ABC Family's Kyle XY, and Lacy Rand on Syfy's short-lived science fiction drama series Caprica. Emily Hartwell (born Maya Hartwell), is her science fiction character on Continuum. Recently, she was spotted as Sandy on the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz, who is Polish-American and attended the 9th grade in Poland. She lived with her aunt in Poland and attended Jelenia Gola school. She later went on to study at Vancouver Film School. She became interested in acting at the age of 10 when her father introduced her to Pulp Fiction. Her acting career began in 2002 when she appeared in Jeremiah and John Doe. Between 2007 and 2009, she played Andy Jensen in Kyle XY. In 2008, she played the lead role in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand, a series regular, on the TV drama Caprica along with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. Hellcats was her following appearance. In 2012, she was the guest star on Jane Espenson's second season of the web-based romantic comedy Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz played Emily in the show Continuum. She also played Samantha in The Green Inferno horror film produced by Eli Roth. The Green Inferno was originally filmed in 2012. The film was released worldwide in the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. It premiered on the 20th of February in 2020. Apanowicz was cast as Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
